Once again, I found myself in vegas for another bachey trip. It's weird ... I usually come back from Vegas feeling like I never want to ever step another foot on that strip but this time however, I came home feeling like I didn't get to see everything that I had wanted. So much has changed since the last time I visited. New hotels, new shopping areas. So you know what? I kinda wanna go back! I planned this little scavenger hunt thing for fabulous where she had to go to different places on the strip and pick up clues and small treats that I bought for her. There really wasn't much of a prize at the end. Her plane landed a lot later than was scheduled so it really threw off some of the things I had set up since most of the workers I had spoke with were done with their shifts. All I could do was hope that they had pass the message onto the next person. We were pushed for time since we had dinner reservations so I kinda hauled her from one place to the next instead of having her figure out for herself where she needed to go.
Right when she arrived at the hotel, she checked in at the front desk and I immediately gave her directions that she needed to go the lobby bar. Once there, the bartender gave her three shots that she had down right away. It was actually this pink martini drink that he split into three shots. When she was done, he handed her the next clue. Which weren't really clues since there wasn't really anything she had to figure out. It just said where she need to go next.
Before we headed to the next destination, we showed her the tank tops that we made for her.
2nd stop: Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery at the Venetian. I got her this assorted package of six macarons: vanilla, chocolate, passion fruit, coffee, pistachio and strawberry. We tried them all then and there. They were gooood. I think I had thought about going back to pick up more but I just never had the chance.
3rd stop: Sugar Factory at the Mirage. I got her the Brittany Spears signature lollipop.
Last stop: Serendipity3. What else would I get her but a frozen hot chocolate which we all shared. Yum! Here, she had to take her clues and assemble them into a you know what. The last piece of the puzzle was on the straw in the frozen hot chocolate. The drink was already sitting on the counter when she got there and it took her a while to spot it. But she started cracking up once she saw it. So funny.
And then it was back to our hotel to get ready for dinner and then dancing! More fotos to come.
