After graduating college, a few people i know started celebrating their 30th birthday. Back then that was so OLD to us. AND NOW, there's a few people hitting forty and others who are getting close. GEEZUS! I think jacques here is my first friend to turn forty. That i know of anyway. Actually i have a girlfriend who is forty but she didn't really advertise it so it kinda came and went in a hush hush way. Gilles threw a karaoke party for jacques 4oth and it was so FUN! I'm all down with the house parties these day. I love having those nice get together's with a nice cozy group. I wish my circle of friends was something like FRIENDS where it's just the six of them all the time. Unfortunately for big poppa and me, we have pockets of friends everywhere and not everyone knows each other and although i used to want everyone to know each other i just don't even bother anymore. Too much work. So when it comes time to celebrating something, we end up inviting so many different people and it's hard to get them to mesh together sometimes. Oh well. The drinking started fast and strong. Shots! Shots! Shots! A little karaoke here and there. No Like A Prayer. Dance party to Moves Like Jagger. Transam is TKO'd by the end of the night. I sent out some fotos to friends with captions. Pretty funny if i do say so myself. But maybe just funny to us. Because of the drinking that took place that night that, it kept us from going crazy for NYE. I know i was freaked out by transam and didn't want that to happen to me or anyone else. We took it slow. Maybe a little too slow. Haha. Kirbs is one funny arse drunk. We're a good drinking group cos none of us are drama drunks. Just happy and fun drunks. Now, on to 50 my friend!
