Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. That's frackin' Lady Gaga's real name. Crazy huh?!? IMO, she's the absolute most coolest singer-songwriter at the moment. Her style is just awesome even though I would never wear anything that she wears. And I love pop music. Especially stuff that makes me want to get up and JUST DANCE. Well, I like that song but not as much as I'm super digging Poker Face. It's my get hype song. Big poppa was saying how he thinks the lyrics are dumb but I'm like, who frackin' cares about the lyrics. The music and beat are just bumping! I think Lady Gaga is what Gwen Stefani tried to be in her solo career but just couldn't quite do it. I know. That's mean! Anyhow. There's this other super cool thing that's floating around the web world and it's this short film thing that Lady Gaga put together. Loves it!

Trippin': Vail - Vail Village
Vail Village is so quaint and cute. There's lots of shops where you can buy all sorts of knick knacks and junk and souvenirs. So you know I was all over that! And of course, you could buy all the snow gear that your heart desired.

Trippin': Vail - Snow Angels
The snow in Vail was so fluffy and white and powdery that sometimes you can't help but want to jump into it and lay there. So that's exactly what Miss Flower Child and I did. And then we made a lame attempt at making snow angels until our hands froze. Frost bites!
Arrgghh! Hans Solo. What did you say? I SAID: HANDS. SO. COLD.
Miss Flower Child always had snow stuck to her bum.

Trippin': Vail - To Vail Village
This is what happened when we decided to take a walk to Vail Village. Ok so nothing interesting happened. And I know I'm just wasting a lot of time with a bunch of nothingness. But what may be nothing to you means a lot to me and my peeps. Scenery wise, it was pretty much what I expected.
I turn my head to the east, nothing but snow on that side.
I turn my head to the west, still even more snow in my sight.
Trippin': Vail - Snowboarding Pt.3
There wasn't a whole lot of snowboarding happening on the third day. We're a bunch of newbs! The more advanced folks went off onto the slopes, but us tired folk stayed in this bowl area where we had fun going sledding using our snowboards. We all had the best time doing so cos it was the fastest we had all gone. Hah! I remember that we all felt this was the perfect way to end an already amazing trip. No fret my pet. There are more entries to come. I'm trying out this slideshow thing. I actually loathe slideshows but in an effort to save time, I thot I'd give it a try. If I hate it, this will be the last of it!

Trippin': Vail - Snowball Fight
Here we are, taking a little stroll to and from Vail Village, and for some reason we just stop and take a seat on the super soft snow. My legs start getting pelted by little snowballs and I notice Miss Mascara has her hands full of ice. It's on! And a friendly snowball fight ensues. Well, I take fotos while the others go into attack mode.
Making snowballs.
See Mascara secretly making her snowball. Poor unknowing Transam doesn't know whats coming.
In this game, it's every man for him/herself. The relationship takes a back seat. Haha!
He throws.
He catches.
She throws.
She bats.
She throws.
And she catches.
Birthday: Flower Child
I want to wish Miss Flower Child a super birthday today! She's just a baby! Some of us met up for brunch at Farrago's to celebrate with her. The place was super packed and we were squished into a tiny table so I wasn't able to really take any pics of the place. The food took a really long to come out and by the time it made it's appearance, I was so hungry that I dug right in and forgot to take and fotos of food. Pooey! But from what I can remember, the french toast is AWESOME. Very tasty and a nutritionists nightmare. The crab cakes also had a thumbs up. Mochi (aka Truffles. I decided to give her a new nickname.) thought my chicken and garlic pizza was good but I thought it was ok. Everyone else had normal brekkie food and you know, you can't really go wrong with that. But ya mon. Let's wish that Miss Flower Child has an amazing week. Wish I could join you in D.C. for the cherry blossoms but I'm frackin' brokety broke.
I gifted Miss Flower Child with her own Momiji doll.
Her beautiful manicured nails versus my own that's been chipping away for weeks now.
My face is red. It's a combo of mimosa plus laughing too loud and too hard.

Trippin': Vail - Snowboarding Pt.2
So here's the one percent of on goings that happened on our second day of SB. These series of fotos are pretty boring. Lots of posey fotos and not enough SB action. This was when I wasn't capable of going down the mountain with a camera in my hand. Things are slightly different now. I don't fall as much as I used to and I mos def have better sense and control of the mtn. I didn't think I would be able to do it at all that day cos my body was in such pain from the day before. Most of us were feeling pretty bad so I think there was a unanimous decision to find the baby bunny slope and just get in some practice with technique and try to get toe-side down. The bunny slope in Vail is called the Gopher Hill. If you ever go to Vail and think that you will only stay on the Gopher Hill, do NOT buy any lift tickets! REPEAT! Don't bother buying any lift tickets cos the tiny Gopher Hill chairlift is FREE! We actually did the Gopher Hill two days. Haha! I know. We're wusses. Anyhow. So here goes it.
This is our group leaving the gift shop. Everytime I travel, I end up loading up with all this souvenir junk. That's what I get for trying to collect things. Don't become a collector and start collecting things. I'm such a sucker sometimes. Anyways. I also realize that I'm really good at wasting time. Everyone wanted to get going on the slopes so that we could make the most of the day. But I ended up taking forever in the gift shop. Whoops. So sollee!
Now we're trying to find the Gopher Hill. Yes. It was that small and obscure that it was almost invisible. Hey, you gotta start somewhere.
I was sinking in that pile of snow.
Say hi! That's the Gopher Hill right behind Mascara.
Ever see a Buddhist monk snowboard?
The ski lodge.
I really wanted to try the fries cos the last time I had fries at a ski lodge, they were frackin' DELICIOUS! It was not so good here. And if you're wondering if that's a chicken sandwich, well, you betcha it is!
