Paw Pals: Vizsla

For the longest time, my co-worker really wanted a dog but there were circumstances that prevented her from getting one. Then one day she said eff-it and got the dog she's always wanted. A VIZSLA. I had no idea what kind of dog that was but now, I pretty much see them everywhere and have to stop myself from going up to people and asking if their dog is a vizsla. Pronounced vee-shla. I even saw a car with a bumper sticker that said something about having a vizsla. Her dog miles is now a big boy but when he was still a puppy, i lent her a few dogs things to help her start off. He was so cute and all over the place! I actually lobbied really hard for her to name him griffin but no success. So now i call him miles griffin.

Event: Shot In The Dark

Miss antsymama has a friend who is a freelance fotog for the Houston Press. The Houston Press was having this event called Shot In The Dark where all of their fotogs could display and sell fotos of the concerts that they've worked at. I tagged along with miss antsymama to enjoy the scene but unfortunately, my broke arse could not purchase anything. It's prolly best anyhow considering the amount of junk i already have filling up my house. Big poppa is always saying how different we are but i don't think it's true at all. Cos man, we are both so incredibly JUNKY! Him more so than me. Here are pics from the event. I want to say that right before bed one night, I was looking through these pics and coincidence or not, i had a dream about jay-z and beyonce. So weird.

Birthday: LP

My co-worker neighbor buddy celebrated her birthday in April. I KNOW! So long ago. She had just gotten a new dog and I mentioned to her there was this place in the heights-ish area called Boneyard's that's a bar with a dog run area. She thot it was awesome and decided to have a get together there to celebrate her birthday. I must not love my furry friends as much as she does cos i don't think i would ever work my birthday around them. Haha. I think she had a good time but when you got a bunch of dogs together, you end up spending most of your time watching your dog making sure they don't get into any trouble. I was hoping to take a lot of fotos but there were so many dogs and they were all moving around so fast and it was dark. Didn't quite work out. It was really fun though seeing how dogs interact with each other. I wish i could have brought my dogs but they don't play well with others. Maybe I should have least tried. I'm a bad owner. I feel really bad now. Bad human!

Trippin': Washington D.C. - Baked and Wired

I loved staying around the georgetown area. The only downside was that it was a little further away from the national mall and there was no train access. For breakfast one morning, miss flower child and i walked about block to get this really cute coffee shop called Baked and Wired. As we looked at the menu, I asked miss flower child what she wanted to eat. She replied that she wanted to order a 'kee-chee'. I laughed out loud. Silly girl meant meant 'quiche', pronounced 'keesh'. I contemplated being evil and letting her order her 'kee-chee' at the counter just so i could have a good laugh. But i didn't. Haha. The quiche was delish! We came back the next day to eat it again. I forgot what kind we had but i know miss flower child had some ham in hers and i had a veggie one with all sorts of cheese. We took our drinks and food and ate at a table outside to enjoy the brisk d.c. morning.
