Seattle has this Japanese/Asian supermarket called Uwajimaya that features this Asian foodcourt. I almost always prefer Asian cuisine to anything else and this place is perfect. They have Hawaiian, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese and Chinese. So many to choose from! How can one decide?!? They also have a burger place and a few other things such as an an Asian bakery and BOBA! Unfortunately the bf and I had already eaten so we were too hungry (and tired!) to give anything a taste test. We totally need something like this in HOUSTON. Actually, the other day I noticed something called the International Foodcourt near the new Viet Hoa center in Bellaire. Must .... try ... immediately.





Something I realized while I took this picture: I really like paper cranes! I feel that cranes are the perfect symbol for hope and faith.

Event: Superbowl

Congrats to the NY Giants for ruining the Patriots attempt at a perfect 19-0 season. I lost interest after the Packers failed to move on. Everyone busied themselves with crawfish but I'm that special Texan who does not care for them. They're stinky! We need to petition the US to make the Monday after Superbowl an official HOLIDAY! We played rockband until about midnight. If it weren't for work the next day, I'm sure we would've rocked on til the wee hours of the night. One thing I learned from Superbowl: that "Free Falling" song is by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Hah!

Happy super birthday to one of the coolest gal pals that I have! I had a blast this weekend and I must say that Mrs. Antsylily looks GREAT for post-bebe.

Trippin': Seattle - Gossip

I didn't seem to see a lot of boba places in Seattle so when I did, I sure did jump at the chance to go get some! I'm not that big of a fan of tapioca so I always order mine without it. Gossip was right across the street from Purple Dot Cafe so the bf and I headed over there after our meal of dim sum. I tried their coffee milk tea which was not that bad, but it certainly wasn't as good as Teahouse. I have yet to find another place that has milk tea better than Teahouse. The place was really cute. They have this area upstairs that you can sit and chill with your friends. The reason why I would never ever go chill up there ever again is because the couches there looked so DIRTY and DINGHY! I'm not a complete neat freak or germaphobe, but that was just .... LUHGUUHG! I saw several guys who just plopped down with no care in the world. I took a seat at the VERY edge of the coffee table. The bf however was comfortably reading a mag on one of the previously mentioned D&D sofa chairs. EEEwwww!!!
