Happy Birthday America! I couldn't find anything patriotic to fotograf because I've been stuck at home nursing the bf's hangover from last night. So in lieu of red, white and blue, I give you white and black, in the form of Tino and Neo.

Daily Shots: Driving Range
The bf and his man pals have been getting into the sport of golf. Mainly, we've been going to this driving range on Richmond and West Houston Center. That cross street might be incorrect. I've noticed that my swing has gotten a lot better. I hit the ball more often than not and I'm on target when it comes to precision. As for accuracy, not so much. I could get into this whole spiel on why golf is one the most over-rated and pretentious sports ever invented by men. Some will say that it's one of the most difficult sports out there. I think not. Here are my arguments:
1. If I could go out and hit the darn ball with absolutely ZERO lessons, then imagine how much better I would be with a few simple lessons.
2. You got NO opponent. There's no one trying to block your shot. No one trying to tackle yo arse.
3. Old people play it.
4. The audience is completely silent. No heckling or waving objects to distract the hitter.
5. You have people who carry things for you and you get to consult with the folks around you about what to do.
I could definitely go on. I can't believe people win thousands of dollars from this so-called sport. And then Tiger Woods had to have knee surgery? You get knee surgery from sports like football and basketball and other types of high-contact sports. Not frackin' golf. Seriously. Even billiards is harder. In billiards, you have someone who will try to block your next shot. Sorry. But the image of golf and how it's on this super high pedestal just makes me want to poke my eyes out and THEN roll them around. It drives me insane when the golfer makes a shot and then the audience gives these appreciative golf claps like the golfer did something brilliant. AAGGHHH! Watson and Crick were brilliant men. Not some over-paid geezers swinging around metal clubs.
OK. Back to reality. And back to some fotos of the boys doing their thang.

Daily Shots: Krispy Wasp
Some random pandemonium to expectorium.
My dear lady friend co-worker neighbor buddy went back to her hometown and brought me back some much needed Krispy Kreme. It was just a few weeks ago that I was relating to her my sadness regarding how there are no longer any Krispy Kreme's in Houston. It's my super super duper favorite type of doughnuts. Evar. From the bottom of my heart, along with the bottoms of my sisters, cousin and cousin's gf hearts, we thank you L.P.!
I looked out the window one afternoon and noticed this giganto and scary wasp just chillin' on my screen. Go away!
Proof that I may not be a grown woman. I took a foto of the contents of my purse one day. Cell phone. Check. Ipod. Check. Wallet. Check. Keys. Check. Kung Fu Panda Happy Meal toys. Check. Check.
Unfortunately, the t-shirt that Marie Digby signed would inevitably have to go through the wash cycle. Therefore I made sure to snap a quick memory.

Restaurant: Cafe 101
9889 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 101
Houston, TX 77036
A little bit of Chinese. A little bit of Korean. And a little bit of Japonaise food. That pretty much sums up the ultra-fab and modernized setting of Cafe 101. It is so frackin' trendy in there that it just makes you wanna dress better. Most of the waitresses even seeem as if they were imported straight from the mainland. Accent and all. I tried Cafe 101 when they first opened and wasn't too big of a fan. I think I had the pork chop. Reminded me of prison style pork chop. But after trying it again a couple of weeks ago (the restaurant and not the pork chop), it was YUM-OH! As Rachael Ray would exclaim. A lot of people enjoy the hot pot for one. I went for something safe, fried rice and chicken nuggets. The fried rice is just some of the best fried rice EVAR. It was so good that I dragged the bf there for some more the next day. They also serve tapioca style drinks and their drink menu is pretty darn extensive. I had me some milk tea. Safe yet risky because Teahouse is the only place that makes it the way I like it. But it was a relief cos the milk tea here ain't bad at all! So for two days in a row, I had chicken nuggets, fried rice and milk tea for dinner.
You can duck but you can't hide!
My big bowl of fried rice and the yummy chicky nuggies.
Friend had same but with curry and regular white rice.
