Celebrated missus gilles big three-oh recently! It was such a nice and fun night with some of the classiest people i know. Every time i'm with them, it makes me want to dress nicer and be all sophisticated and stuff. I wore my new chanel small flap bag. That's right y'all! My first real designer bag purchased from paris. Dined at triniti. Good food. Just not enough of it! And swanked it up afterwards at St. Genevieve. Both were places i had never been to. Poor big poppa was so messed up the next morning. He asked if we went to tantan last night and i asked him whose birthday was it again?

I'm not finding the inspiration or motivation to post lately. I've got a queue of fotos that could stretch to the top of everest. Just sitting there. Waiting to get posted. I'm so behind on so many things. Work 1. Work 2. Triathlon. Totally am not where i should be and i feel even less prepared than a month ago.

My weekend was just miserable. I will write a long paragraph about it. And then i will delete it.

Art of conversation. I was watching RHONY and new chick carole who is too cool for school was talking about the art of conversation. It's something that i know i try to practice when spending time with friends. There are some people who i love being with because they're such great conversationists and then there are those who are terrible at it. For example, if my friend says she wrote a book, instead of answering with 'me too' or trying to one up her, i should encourage interest by answering with 'what is your book about?'. I know i have been guilty of the whole me too/one up poo poo but i'm working on not doing that. Because it's not always about me. I know a couple of people who tend to shut down what you're saying by sharing a one-up story. No matter what you do, they always had the crazier, better, worse this, more that than you did. And then you feel it's not even worth finishing your story. So now i'm constantly reminding myself that it's not about me when the moment is on them.

Congrats to everyone who are gonna do the houston full and half marathon. Super awesome. I don't think i could ever do this so kampai homies!

Trippin': Sydney - Sydney Opera House

The sydney opera house is as magnificently beautiful as you would imagine it to be. The way it juts out and sits right at the edge of the harbour makes it all the more dramatic. Speaking of dramatics, the story of how the sydney opera house came to be is a drama in itself! The real architect who created the design and who also poured all his blood sweat and tears into this project gets kicked off the plan and has supposedly never come back to sydney to see his vision in completion. In a nutshell. That is so sucky. We didn't see a show here. I checked the schedule and wasn't all too eager to spend my evening at the symphony. My 'mary trip', as my baby sistar puts it, doesn't really allow for an exciting nightlife since my eventful days basically means i hit the sack pretty early. Hey. I'm all too aware how non relaxing traveling with me can be. Thus the reason i kinda prefer not to travel with friends anymore. Haha. I don't want to have to feel bad about the things i want to do and the way i choose to go about it. We took a tour of the opera house. Very cool and pretty and neat. I love having a guide talk about the history of anything and everything. We had to cut it short cos I didn't want us to miss the next adventure. WHALE WATCHING.

Ukele. Hence the song choice. Also because i'm a reality tv junky and brandon is bruce jenner's son. You know. KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS. I find kim kardashian annoying but i enjoy watching their family as a whole. And their fabulous life.

Life happens. Work happens.

I just got back from a crazy trip to paris. I haven't decided yet if i liked it there or not. The buildings are AMAZE! But the amount of chinse tour groups that overwhelmed the city really took away from what could have been a great experience. I know I know. I'm chinese! I don't know what else to say. If I could say something to those chinese people it would be that i think they talk too loud (I know I know ... i talk loud too) and that they smell bad/weird. Confucious say you need to take a FULL head-to-toe shower EVERYDAY. And do not re-wear your clothes without washing them with detergent. Do not line dry either. Use a real dryer and add some bounce sheets. Xie xie.
