The only time i ever really want to eat pho is after a night of drinking and i need to eat something that i think will soothe the uneasy feeling in my tummy. In other words, i do not eat pho all that often. After years of hearing about the pho binh trailer in the southeast side and how good it is that white folks are even going there, big poppa and i finally decided to venture all the down to that trailer for some pho. Twice. First time, no more chicken for pho ga. So we left. Second time? Again no more chicken! I actually just really wanted a pho ga kho. This time we just stayed and i ordered a pho bo vien and gave big poppa all the bo vien. The pho and broth were not so significantly better any other pho i've had. I think the pho places that have stood out to me would have to be pho thai bing duong and pho ve dem. Even as small as the trailer was, the turn over rate was pretty fast so we waited only ten minutes before getting a table. I mos def would not drive all the way out here again just for this pho. By 2pm, the place pretty much emptied out.
