Happy Halloween! I know Halloween is technically not a Holy day to be celebrated as a Holiday, but it should be. This year, big poppa and I set out to party on sixth street in Austin and we went as KICK ASS and HIT GIRL! Kick Ass's body suit and weapons were made from scratch as were Hit Girl's skirt and belt. A LOT of time was spent on our costumes and we got lots of compliments and strangers wanting to take pictures of us. It was really cool walking around and having people everywhere shout out the names of our characters. So fun! This post will be updated with more fotos later. Okay dokay! Pics from Halloween have finally been added! So for those of you who I haven't already yapped to, let me just give some brief commentary on our costumes. It took a good, hard week of work to finish our sorta homemade costumes. Big poppa's adult onesie took FOREVER to finish. It was super tedious laying down the yellow stripes. There was also a mini tantrum thrown by yours truly. I had some wig issues. Let's just say there was something along the lines of me ripping the wig off my head and throwing it on the floor. I was thisclose to also kicking it across the room but decided to stomp on the floor next to it instead. Big poppa says that every time he thinks back to how I acted, it reminds him of that one episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 where Mady marches into the kitchen and kicks a balloon and storms out. Haha. After searching all morning the next day and not finding a suitable wig, I ended up wearing that crappy wig. Blargh. Anyways. The streets of Austin had some awesome costumes that night. My fave was this lego couple and then EmDee's friend who made his own Optimus Prime costume. His was prolly the coolest one that night. It had light effects and everything. He spent a good three weeks putting it together and the whole thing was just amazing. He put my work to shame.

omg yall went out w/ BT and andrew!! hahah they are SO hardcore when it comes to halloween!! they're awesome. one time when i went to austin, she was oren ishii from kill bill and andrew was one of the crazy 8's along with their buddies who were also crazy 8's..haha. she made the costume herself back then too! maybe sometime when we go to austin, yall come and we'll hang out w/ them!! she babysat our kids so bill and i can have a date night last time we were there. haha. and your costumes are pretty KICKASS, so don't fret! i'm sure it was bc you made them so you knew your flaws. i love the wig too!
