Oh Really?: High Five

The new five dollar bill just made its debut today. It now features color! There's this giganto purple five in the bottom right hand corner and light purple shading in the center where Abe's head is. Mr Lincoln is pink! The Federal Reserve folks have been bored lately so they wanted to spice things up. The real reason, they say, is to stay ahead of counterfeiters. They added a few new security features that I won't get into because it's so vapidly ho-hum. Let's just focus on the fun things. It's purple! You won't believe how many a-holays try to give us fake money at the parents biz. My dad unknowingly has taken a fake $20 on two different occassions. Someone tried to pull that on my ma but she was too slick for their scam. She did what every other crazy angry asian lady would do. She started screaming and yelling at them and told them to stay there until the police came. Of course they didn't stick around but hopefully they'll never come back. My ma is champion at intimidating the bejeezus out of those who choose to live a crooked life. Layin' down the law!
