Back in July, for the release of the final installment of the Harry Potter movie franchise, city centre hosted an event where it was supposed to transform the commons plaza area into its own diagon alley. Mochi told she would be there with her peeps and although i'm not big on harry potter, i wanted to go just cos it sounded pretty neat. Well, diagon alley it was not, but there were tons of people dressed as their favorite characters and a few booths set up around the perimeter. If i had known about it sooner you betcha i woulda came in costume! There was this baby who made the cutest most adorable harry potter. Sweets had made themed desserts from the movie as well as their very own version of the butter beer. It was very butterscotchy and sweet and the dry ice gave it the foggy effect. There was also some sort of record breaking attempt. I'm not sure. Something about the most number of harry potters doing something at the same time all over the nation. I can't help but laugh at the last group foto. There's this kid in the very front wearing shorts, some random tie, a blazer, and he's holding up some tree twig as his wand. Haha.
