A little bit of Chinese. A little bit of Korean. And a little bit of Japonaise food. That pretty much sums up the ultra-fab and modernized setting of Cafe 101. It is so frackin' trendy in there that it just makes you wanna dress better. Most of the waitresses even seeem as if they were imported straight from the mainland. Accent and all. I tried Cafe 101 when they first opened and wasn't too big of a fan. I think I had the pork chop. Reminded me of prison style pork chop. But after trying it again a couple of weeks ago (the restaurant and not the pork chop), it was YUM-OH! As Rachael Ray would exclaim. A lot of people enjoy the hot pot for one. I went for something safe, fried rice and chicken nuggets. The fried rice is just some of the best fried rice EVAR. It was so good that I dragged the bf there for some more the next day. They also serve tapioca style drinks and their drink menu is pretty darn extensive. I had me some milk tea. Safe yet risky because Teahouse is the only place that makes it the way I like it. But it was a relief cos the milk tea here ain't bad at all! So for two days in a row, I had chicken nuggets, fried rice and milk tea for dinner.
