It's hard to miss the giant looming head of Carmen Miranda that hangs over Tacos A G0-G0 as you make your way down Main St around the Montrose area. She was a Puerto Rican born Brazilian samba singer and motion picture star. Tacos A Go-Go however, is a restaurant that specializes in cheap Mexican food. I've never been there so I can't say for myself how good the food is but reviews have all been mostly positive. Along with typical Mexican fare, they have a big assortment of unique taco combinations such as dessert tacos! Something that definitely popped out was the chocolate taco: a half bar of dark chocolate, with a little cinnamon, a little powdered sugar, grilled like a quesadilla and topped with a little bit more of powdered sugar. That sounds like a super sweet confection that doesn't tempt me one bit but others sure are curious to try it. So, who's down to go try this place with me?!?
