The day after rice and corn's wedding, big poppa and I attended the wedding reception of one of big poppa's old high school friends. The reception was at Houston National Golf Club which was all the way up north. Mike is this super big and tall white dood who's really into asian girls. So when we found out he was marrying a viet girl, it was no surprise. The funny thing is that dung works at this restaurant, pho dalat, that has some of my favo wings in houston. Canh ga chien nuoc mam. It's so good. They actually served them during cocktail hour! But of course, the wings are only super good when u eat it fresh at the restuarant. It mos def does not taste as good when u get it to go. The reception was short and simple being that it was a Sunday evening. Big poppa had a good time mingling with all his high school buddies. Just a few weeks ago, Mike called to tell us that they were now expecting. Baby so fast!
